A free* course run by Red Ladder’s Artistic Director, Cheryl Martin for those pursuing a career in the industry.

*For this course you pay a £10 deposit which is refunded in your first session. If you want to participate but this is a barrier to you attending, please drop us a line as we would love you to come.

Weekday, evening and weekend sessions covering:

• Devising
• Tackling text
• How to structure rehearsals
• How to brief and work with designers and collaborators
• Working with actors
• A public showcase

You will be directing graduates of the Red Ladder acting course, performing pieces written by graduates from our writing courses in a final showcase.

Please note, this is a repeat of the course Cheryl ran last year so not appropriate for those who attended previously.

Tues 8th July 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Room 510, Leeds Conservatoire
Sat 12th July 9am-5pm & Sun 13th July – 9am-5pm at Room 510, Leeds Conservatoire
Thurs 24th July 9am-5pm and final sharing 6-9pm at Room 510, Leeds Conservatoire
If you can’t make daytime hours on Thursday 24th July, please let us know so we can try to adjust your schedule.

This course is open to anyone 18+ living in West Yorkshire. If you’re not in the county but you wish to attend do email us info@redladder.co.uk and we will add you to the waitlist.
