Jo Mousley-2

Jo started her theatrical career at the tender age of 7 larking about in pantomimes,  and trained as a dancer before discovering acting.Jo trained at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama and has worked with Ape, Box Clever and M6 Theatre Companies.  She has performed at the 'Milk International Children's Festival of the Arts' in Toronto with M6, playing Zara in the acclaimed 'Breathing Space'.Her recent credits include; A Taste of Honey (The Lowry-Studio Theatre), Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (Oldham Coliseum  / Harrogate Theatre), The Prisoner of Zenda (North Country Theatre), Blood Wedding (Liverpool Playhouse), Seesaw (Re:Play Festival, The Library Theatre, Manchester) and a showcase performance of 'Remember Me' a new play she is developing for the 24/7 Fringe Festival in Manchester this summer. Jo also delivers education workshops and develops new writing work with Oldham Coliseum Theatre. This is her second tour with Red Ladder, having previously played Lilly in Forgotten Things by Emma Adams 2009 tour.

Dean Nolan

Dean initially trained at the Hub Theatre School in St Austell which culminated in a touring show of 'Volpone'(playing Nano the Dwarf). He then spent five years with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, 1999-2004. He has performed with a National Theatre/Kneehigh collaboration, at the Lyric Hammersmith, Warwick Arts Centre and the Royal Derngate Theatre, Northampton.His credits also include, National tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oogly Es Sin The Lamentable Ballad of Anthony Payne Cornish Giant, one man show tour for BishBashBosh Productions. Friar Tuck in Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood. Salisbury Playhouse. He has toured the UK and internationally as the Fat Controller in Thomas and Friends Live. Pete in, A Taste of Honey, Salisbury Playhouse. Jimmy 'Dunkey' Tamblyn, BishBashBoshBosh Productions. Spud the Builder, Ashes to Ashes, BBC and Kudos Productions. Romeo and Juliet Unzipped, Salisbury Playhouse. Dean is really excited about this production and the collaboration between Red Ladder and Chumbawamba.

Harry Hamer

Harry is a musician, songwriter, composer, music producer and performer. He  was a member of the Chumba’s between 1983 - 2004 producing 12 Chumbawamba albums. He has worked with numerous other bands as a producer and musician.  Including Sufferin Succotash, Alabama 3, New Model Army, Oysterband, Jo Freya's Lal Waterson Project and Credit to the Nation. His acting credits include View from the Woodpile - Ken Loach (Ch 4), Revengers Tragedy - Alex Cox  (Avenging Angel Film) Whatever, a Teenage Musical - Daisy Asquith  (Ch 4) Foxes - Alice Nutter (Northern Exposure) In 2006,  he collaborated with playwright Alice Nutter on a community play with music  'Love & Petrol' - translating classic punk songs into a South Asian style. This project continues as a working band- The Sex Patels.  He also works as a  DJ. He was musical director and performer on Red ladder’s 40th anniversary production Where’s Vietnam by Alice Nutter in 2008. We welcome Harry back with this new show.

Calum Clark

Calum has been Stage Manager with Red Ladder since 2007. Shows include Doors by Madani Younis, Where’s Vietnam ? by Alice Nutter and Forgotten Things by Emma Adams. In  2001 he co -founded Street Theatre company, Artemis Productions in Liverpool, specialising in Stilt Walking performance. He is also a freelance sound designer as well as a multi-intrumentalist with various pop and rock bands; one of which, ‘Prince Mint and the Glam Chops’ was the first band to play live on the multi- award winning daytime chat show, Richard & Judy.
