Kelly Jago will be designing the set for 'Bittersweet Sunshine' by Ben Tagoe.
Kelly trained at Nottingham Trent University, graduating with a first class degree in theatre design.
Kelly's recent design credits include Looking for the Rainbow (Big Window Theatre Company), Under Milk Wood (Mansfield Palace Theatre), A Dream Play (Arts Support Service), Pericles (York Theatre Royal), The Heights (SJT and National Theatre Connections project), The Insect Play (Thorsby Riding Hall).
Kelly has worked as a designer as part of the 'Aim Higher' project with The Roundabout Theatre at the Nottingham Playhouse. This role included devising and leading design workshops with young people culminating in a collaborate set and costume design for performances including Seven Jewish Children and Burglars.
Kelly has also worked as a prop maker, scenic artist and puppet maker for Blunderbus Theatre company on national touring shows including The Rainbow Fish, Giraffes Can't Dance, Pinocchio and The Dragon's Daughter. Other prop making credits include How long is a piece of string (Oily Cart) , Bunny and the Bull (Warp x film company).
