What does it involve ?
· Accepting, understanding, appreciating and celebrating anyone and anything that feels different.
· Raising awareness of how power is distributed on a personal, local and global level and how we can recognise the fair use of power and use our own power positively.
· Appreciating that our own emotional health is essential if we are to help others, and exploring ways of supporting and understanding emotional health together.
· Responding to the idea that ‘we do not live in a just world’, and exploring why and how this is, and what we can do about it.
· Looking at environmental sustainability so that we can continue to enjoy our lives, without jeopardising the potential for future generations to do the same.
· Learning how to talk and listen to each other to recognise the needs of others and to express our own needs, in a way that reduces conflict and makes everyone feel valued personally, locally and globally.
